Ecclesiastes 7:6-8

⁶ For as the crackling sound of ^(A)thorn bushes under a pot,
So is the ^(B)laughter of the fool;
And this too is vanity.
⁷ For ^(C)oppression gives a wise man over to madness,
And a ^(D)bribe ^[a]destroys the heart.
⁸ Better is the ^(E)end of a matter than its beginning;
^(F)Better is patience of spirit than haughtiness of spirit.
